Precursors ... and rebels, two ways to define a process of personal growth - Precursori... e ribelli, due modi per definire un processo di crescita personale

When, in the spring of 1984, I decided to found the VV.TT. I did it in full awareness that the purpose of the new association would be to go against ... We were a handful of rebels that day in front of the notary Giuseppe Togandi in his studio in Orte and while we were carrying out our duty swearing fidelity to the aims of the association we were even going against all the consolidated norms of every old association, stating (among other things): "The purpose of the association is to establish and promote in all spaces deemed appropriate practices for spiritual development and collective meditations, survival experiments in wild places and seminars on the harmonious use of nature reserves, organize and promote the search for natural cures for the mind and body, demonstrate and disseminate the importance of a harmonious and loving existence ... " . In short, we were founding a  movement  of "lay spirituality" without  any pretension ...

The fact is that to put these associative purposes into practice - necessarily - we had to go against the rules and customs of the society in which we live. In short, we took the trouble to change the world, rebelling against the restrictive and petty rules of current culture. This is why we have been celebrating The Feast of the Precursors every year since 1984 to remind us of that goal and to continue tirelessly in the goal of breaking the ice towards new frontiers of human intelligence.

Some of our detractors say that we are unrepentant sixty-eighteen, or that we are inveterate deluded, since our wanting to change the world ends up in nothing ... It may be so ... but at least we are trying to do it starting by changing ourselves, deciding for ourselves those behaviors necessary to create a new human civilization. And then we define ourselves as "rebels" and not "revolutionaries" because, as Osho said, the revolutionary belongs to an earthly sphere while the rebel and his rebellion are sacred. The revolutionary feels the need to address the crowd, moving in political and government spheres, in short, he needs "power". And power always corrupts (we know it well) and the revolutionaries who have taken it have been corrupted by it. Power changed their mind while society remained the same, only the names changed.

This is why the world needs rebellious precursors and this is a time when if there are not several rebellious spirits our days on earth as a human species are numbered ... We are digging our grave and we are very close to the point of not return ...

We need to change the way we see and act, create more meditative energy, develop more love and harmony. To do this we must destroy the old, its ugliness, its putrid ideologies, its stupid marginalization, idiotic superstitions and create a new human being with clear eyes.

A discontinuity with the past, this is the meaning of the rebellion, continuing to courageously walk new paths with a spirit of sacrifice and discrimination. In short, let's go on making icebreakers, without occupying any place, without pursuing any power, simply experiencing our growth in all the details of the livable ....

Now the time is ripe, in the years to come either man will disappear or a new human being with a different vision will appear on earth and that human being is a precursor.

“Il futuro non ha bisogno di rivoluzioni.. il futuro ha bisogno di un nuovo esperimento!” (Osho)

Allorché, nella primavera del 1984, decisi di fondare il circolo vegetariano VV.TT. lo feci nella piena consapevolezza che lo scopo della nuova associazione sarebbe stato quello di andare contro... Eravamo un manipolo di ribelli quel giorno davanti al notaio Giuseppe Togandi nel suo studio di Orte e mentre compivamo il nostro dovere giurando fedeltà alle finalità del sodalizio stavamo anche andando contro tutte le norme consolidate di ogni vecchio sodalizio, affermando (tra l'altro): “Lo scopo dell'associazione è quello di istituire e promuovere in tutti gli spazi ritenuti opportuni pratiche per lo sviluppo spirituale e meditazioni collettive, sperimentazioni di sopravvivenza in luoghi selvaggi e seminari sull'uso armonico delle riserve della natura, organizzare e promuovere la ricerca di cure naturali per la mente e per il corpo, dimostrare e divulgare l'importanza di un'esistenza armonica e piena d'amore...”. Insomma stavano fondando una “spiritualità laica” facendo finta di niente...

Il fatto è che per mettere in pratica queste finalità associative -necessariamente- dovevamo andar contro le regole e le consuetudini della società in cui viviamo.. Insomma ci siamo presi la briga di cambiare il mondo, ribellandoci alle norme restrittive e meschine della cultura corrente. Ecco perché dal 1984 celebriamo La Festa dei Precursori, ogni anno, per ricordarci quello scopo prefisso e proseguire indefessi nella meta di rompere il ghiaccio verso nuove frontiere dell'intelligenza umana.

Alcuni nostri detrattori dicono che siamo sessantottini non pentiti, oppure che siamo inveterati illusi, poiché il nostro voler cambiare il mondo si risolve in un nulla... Sarà così... ma almeno stiamo cercando di farlo cominciando dal cambiare noi stessi, decidendo per noi stessi quei comportamenti necessari a creare una nuova civiltà umana. Ed allora ci definiamo “ribelli” e non “rivoluzionari” poiché, come disse Osho, il rivoluzionario appartiene ad una sfera terrena mentre il ribelle e la sua ribellione sono sacri. Il rivoluzionario sente il bisogno di rivolgersi alla folla, muovendosi in ambiti politici e di governo, insomma ha bisogno di “potere”. Ed il potere sempre corrompe (lo sappiamo bene) ed i rivoluzionari che lo hanno assunto ne sono stati corrotti. Il potere ha cambiato la loro mente mentre la società è rimasta la stessa, solo i nomi sono cambiati.

Per questo il mondo ha bisogno di precursori ribelli e questo è un momento in cui se non vi saranno parecchi spiriti ribelli i nostri giorni sulla terra, come specie umana, sono contati... Stiamo scavando la nostra tomba e siamo molto vicino al punto di non ritorno...

Dobbiamo cambiare il nostro modo di vedere e di agire, creare più energia meditativa, sviluppare più amore ed armonia. Per farlo dobbiamo distruggere il vecchio, la sua bruttura, le sue putride ideologie, le sue stupide emarginazioni, le superstizioni idiote e creare un nuovo essere umano dagli occhi limpidi.

Una discontinuità con il passato, ecco il significato della ribellione, continuando a percorrere coraggiosamente nuovi sentieri con spirito di sacrificio e discriminazione. Insomma andiamo avanti a fare i rompighiaccio, senza occupare alcun luogo, senza perseguire alcun potere, semplicemente sperimentando la nostra crescita in tutti i particolari del vivibile....

Ora il tempo è maturo, negli anni a venire o l'uomo scomparirà o sulla terra farà la sua comparsa un nuovo essere umano con una visione diversa e quell'essere umano è un precursore.
