Il mondo nasce con la nascita dell' “io sono” - The world is born with the birth of "I am"

- L’essenza dei cinque elementi fondamentali (visti come stati energetici): etere, aria, fuoco, acqua e terra, in continua e mutua frizione.
- I tre attributi (o qualità): satva (armonia), rajas (attività), tamas (inerzia)

Testo inglese:
Everything that exists in the world arises from the encounter between darkness and light, between the earth and the sky, between the feminine and the masculine. This is a theory expressed not only in India or in China but present in every philosophy and religion and even in empirical science. But in China and India more the binary discourse of the creative forces has been analyzed in depth and brought to its extreme conclusions. Everyone knows - for example - what the Yin (feminine) and Yang (masculine) are and many know the binomial Shakti (phenomenon) and Shiva (noumena).
In the twilight of the dawn it is said that the world was created by Brahma. The description of this creation is very simple. Mystical cosmological mythology describes the birth of all beings through the creative work of Brahma. The creator having to carry out his task formulated in himself the feminine principle "Sandhia" which means Aurora, assuming he the masculine principle. Once this "daughter" of his appeared before his eyes, he was so fascinated that he fell in love with his own creation. Sandhia tried to escape Brahma's craving and from time to time assumed a different form, always feminine, while Brahma chased her into the masculine form of the same species. And so all sentient beings were finally produced. This symbolic allegory of "chasing each other" is also repeated in the Big Bang theory, in which the indistinct primordial unity (Tao for the Chinese) is transformed into a great creative explosion (the desire to multiply), made possible by the expansion of time in the space, we could equally call them light and darkness….
But I want to go into the minute details, into the insights present in each of us, taking the example of my own life. The earliest memories I have of myself date back to the limbo of the womb and to the moment of birth. Then I clearly perceived the destiny of the form that I would have assumed, with all the difficulties consequent to the necessary rebalancing of a previous karma. The will to get out of the womb was very weak, seeing the humiliations, the fears, the hardships, the transformations that awaited me ... yet at a certain moment I felt that I could not draw back, that this birth was necessary for my evolution, that there would also be holy and glorious moments, that this life of mine would have helped the fulfillment of other existences as well. And so I came to the light, pulled out of a forceps ... That the midwife finally used, given my reticence to be born….
And then the crucial moments related to dissatisfaction with the form taken. At about 6 or 8 months, I remember that my mother described to a visiting friend the color of my eyes "first it was blues now they are turning green - perhaps brown ..". And in fact my eyes are brown, with greenish streaks ("cacarella" says my daughter Caterina), the much desired blue has remained only a halo in the pupil.
And carnal desire, fear and oedipal jealousy? At about a year and a half I remember one evening I was in my cot, in my parents' room, which evidently wanted to copulate, but I didn't fall asleep and they said to me "sleep if not from the window comes the mammon cat". I didn't even know what such a beast was but immediately I sensed a black figure looking at me from the window and begged my mother to let me go to her bed. But I wasn't accepted and I was silenced with phrases like "but no ... but no ... the big cat doesn't exist .. it stays in your bed ..". Yet for me there was also because I heard strange noises ... Then at about two and a half years, when my little sister Maria was born, I watched her breastfeed and I felt the desire to drink myself of that milk but I took the thing away "Mom, Mom ... how does milk come out of  the breast?" And my mother jokingly raised her breast squeezed in my direction making a splash of milk come out and hit me in the face.
I leave other memories of this genre aside and tell only what was enlightening to me and gave me the vision of undivided reality. One day, I was about four years old, I observed in the ray of sunlight that came through the window a multitude of small beings that moved, a dusting of mysterious particles, and I asked my father "dad ... what are all these things that you see in the ray of light? ”and he replied (after observing in turn) that they were tiny life forms. I immediately perceived the truth that life is an undivided reality, the same thing that scientists today say, that there is no separation and that really everything is a manifestation of the game of primordial quantum particles. And I said it, exclaiming "but then there is no division between us ... we are all the same thing!" Obviously my father, a victim of the dissociated vision denied saying that everyone and everything was separate, and here I had to start to deal with the acceptance one of my intuitive truth than the one described by others ...
But in short, what is the conceptual mechanism behind the creation of the world?
To this question Nisargadatta Maharaj answered in a lucid and clear way: the creation of the world, as an appearance in consciousness, has a tenfold aspect:
- Purusha (male or mind) and Prakriti (female or nature), the psychic and physical material.
- The essence of the five fundamental elements (seen as energy states): ether, air, fire, water and earth, in continuous and mutual friction.
- The three attributes (or qualities): satva (harmony), rajas (activity), tamas (inertia)
An individual may think that he himself is actually acting his name and form are nothing but the combined expression of the meeting between these factors.
In truth, each of us is nothing but "conscience", that is, the capacity for observation and vivification that makes the play of the elements and of the various psychic aspects possible. The embodied form is a bit like the particular image that is formed at the kaleidoscope, or at the slot machine, to which we observing it give a value and meaning based on certain conventions. The forms differ so much in quality and quantity, given the possible blending of the 10 aspects involved, that in the end appear individuals like Hitler or Gandhi….
Doing an inverse analysis, that is, going back to the formation of aspects, we note that the three qualities are nothing but the movement of the "masculine" (rajas) and the "feminine" (tamas) in the gradient formed by space-time and observed in the "consciousness" (satva). While the elements are only the positions assumed by the qualities in the gradient, that is: satva = ether; satva and rajas = air; rajas = fire; rajas and tamas = water; tamas = earth.
But learning the "external" conceptual mechanism is of little use if there is no capacity for recognition and rooting of one's primordial identity, pure awareness, in the light of which everything happens.
The thought "I am" vibrates in existence and everything appears!
