L’ebraismo era ed è una fede “etnica” che ha lo scopo di mantenere l’unità e l’identità culturale e genetica del popolo ebraico. La sua mitologia, che si fa risalire a quattro o cinque mila anni fa, attinse ampiamente a miti e leggende di quei popoli con i quali gli ebrei vennero, per varie ragioni, in contatto. Ma prima di tutto parliamo di come si è andata formando l’entità ebraica. Ebreo significa nomade e gli ebrei appartenevano a tribù pastorali di origine semitica che giravano in cerchio in un continuo andirivieni ai margini della Mezzaluna Fertile. Essendo pastori e girovaghi avevano sviluppato una cultura tipicamente patriarcale, per loro la donna era un mezzo per generare figli maschi che continuassero l’attività, quindi lo status femminile era molto basso rispetto a quello dei maschi. L’unico vantaggio che avevano le donne ebree era che potevano essere sposate, per continuare la “stirpe”. Mentre la condizione delle donne gohim (ovvero non ebree), con le quali tali pastori venivano in contatto, era ritenuta prossima a quella del bestiame. Le femmine gohim potevano essere violentate, fatte oggetto di commercio, usate come prostitute… ma si badava bene a non prolificare con esse poiché i nati da tali “femmine” non venivano riconosciuti come appartenenti al popolo “eletto”.
Malgrado tutte queste attitudini maschiliste e misogine -come avvenne ad altri popoli semitici- anche i giudei, per un certo periodo, accettarono la presenza nel loro gotha di una divinità femminile, Astarte, compagna di Geova, e garante di fertilità. Ci vollero 6 secoli prima che Astarte fosse obliterata, anche se per molto tempo i loro templi convissero fianco a fianco. Ma alla fine i patriarchi ebrei riuscirono a distruggere il culto della dea, e Geova, in solitario, occupò tutto il firmamento. Poverino, solo com’era sviluppò qualità perverse, era un dio vendicativo e crudele che chiedeva la totale sottomissione al suo disgraziato popolo “eletto” (infatti il Giudaismo è considerato una “religione” in senso genealogico), egli era la fonte di ogni male e andava propiziato con sacrifici cruenti (qui ricordiamo la storia di Caino, che offriva i frutti della terra, non graditi a Geova, e di Abele che uccideva e bruciava armenti sull’ara, del cui olezzo il dio si beava). D’altronde se leggiamo la bibbia scopriamo che tutta la storia degli ebrei è costellata di episodi truculenti, di avventure sodomitiche e di violenze.
Il patriarca Abramo, come uno squallido lenone, non esitò a cedere la moglie Sara al faraone d’Egitto per ottenere i favori del sovrano. Ma non vado oltre, mi limito a consigliare vivamente la lettura della bibbia per poter capire quali sono le radici di quella religione monolatrica (detta impropriamente “monoteista”).
Alcune chicche sulla misoginia e sulle norme “erotiche” ebree possiamo trovarle nel Talmud, il libro dei dettami religiosi: “Tutte le donne non ebree sono prostitute. Eben Haezar. – Un uomo può fare con la sua moglie ciò che più lo appaga, come se lei fosse un pezzo di carne che viene dal macellaio, e che lui può mangiare secondo il suo capriccio, salata, arrostita, bollita o come pesce comprato al mercato. Nedarim 20 b. – Una vergine di tre anni ed un giorno può essere ottenuta in matrimonio dopo un atto sessuale. Sanhedrin 55b. – I rapporti sessuali con un bambino al di sotto degli 8 anni d’età sono leciti. Sanhedrin, 69b. – Un giudeo può violentare, ma non sposare una non-ebrea. Gad. Shas. 2.2”
Che dire poi degli altri insegnamenti contenuti nella bibbia? Il lito-libro non è affatto un testo morale, almeno come lo intendiamo noi, e non contiene alcun principio etico. Accettare i dettami della bibbia significa approvare ogni vizio e crimine. In esso si autorizzano: i sacrifici umani, il cannibalismo, la schiavitù, la poligamia, l’adulterio e la prostituzione, l’oscenità, l’ingiustizia verso le donne, l’intolleranza e la persecuzione, etc. etc. Tra l’altro una delle maggiori colpe della bibbia è l’aver insegnato che “la donna ha portato il peccato e la morte nel mondo. Ella era stata creata per dipendere dall’uomo per tutte le sue necessità e per le informazioni di cui avrebbe avuto bisogno..”.
In tutto questo liquame, stranamente, comparve un fiore, si tratta del “Cantico dei cantici” di re Salomone (sull’autore però non v’è certezza). Forse fu l’influenza benefica della regina di Saba che ammorbidì il cuore di questo rude re israelita (anche se ha tutta l’apparenza di una favola il viaggio della regina di Saba che parte dal regno dei Sabei -un territorio dell’odierno Yemen- per far visita a Salomone accompagnata dai suoi cortigiani con doni preziosi). E suona strano che un poema così fortemente erotico sia stato assunto sin dal Concilio di Yavnè (90 d.C.), nel canone dell’Antico Testamento. Ma le tradizioni religiose, sia quella ebraica che quella cattolica cristiana, provvidero a falsare la letteralità del testo, che in verità descrive senza mezzi termini un amplesso, rimosso in favore di una interpretazione mistica (così forzata nel diniego dell’evidenza da apparire quasi assurda).
Alcuni stralci: “ I figli di mia madre si sono sdegnati con me: mi hanno messo a guardia delle vigne; la mia vigna, la mia, non l’ho custodita. Dimmi, o amore dell’anima mia, dove vai a pascolare il gregge, dove lo fai riposare al meriggio, perché io non sia come vagabonda dietro i greggi dei tuoi compagni… – Lèvati, aquilone, e tu, austro, vieni, soffia nel mio giardino si effondano i suoi aromi. Venga il mio diletto nel suo giardino e ne mangi i frutti squisiti. – Il coro: «Volgiti, volgiti, Sulammita, volgiti, volgiti: vogliamo ammirarti».. – Il diletto: «Come son belli i tuoi piedi nei sandali, figlia di principe! Le curve dei tuoi fianchi sono come monili, opera di mani d’artista. Il tuo ombelico è una coppa rotonda che non manca mai di vino drogato. Il tuo ventre è un mucchio di grano, circondato da gigli. I tuoi seni come due cerbiatti, gemelli di gazzella….”
Con queste belle parole d’amore lasciamo ora il giudaismo e rivolgiamo gli occhi alla sua prima filiazione: il cristianesimo.
Dobbiamo prima di tutto dire qualcosa sull’ “inventore” del cristianesimo. Erroneamente si pensa che questa religione sia stata fondata da un certo Gesù, di cui per altro non esiste alcun riscontro storico della sua esistenza, in verità il cristianesimo è la pensata geniale di un ebreo pentito: Saulo di Tarso. Pentito perché passò da persecutore di ebrei che credevano nel messia Gesù a creatore di una nuova religione in cui Gesù diventava il messia di tutti. Ai tempi di Saulo, che per inciso mai conobbe Gesù, ci furono guerre di rivolta dei giudei contro i romani, Saulo stesso, pur essendo un ebreo, aveva la cittadinanza romana (non si sa come ottenuta, alcuni dicono perché facesse la spia) e in diverse occasioni si scontrò con i capi della comunità giudea mettendosi contro gli stessi discepoli di Gesù soprattutto perché, contrariamente a quanto stabilito dalla legge ebraica, Saulo decise di “convertire” al “cristianesimo” anche i gentili.
Questa fu la sua grande furbata: la figura di Gesù, da messia dei giudei divenne il Cristo o salvatore di tutte le genti. All’interno della originaria comunità ebraica, già allora sparsa in tutto l’impero ed anche oltre, si creò una frattura irreparabile e l’eretico Saulo andando per la sua strada fondò quel nuovo credo da lui chiamato “cristianesimo”.
Sin dall’inizio però, questo “cristianesimo”, fu marchiato e contaminato dall’originale misoginia ebraica. La libertà dei costumi femminili, tipica della società romana e greca, fu irregimentata in codici “morali/sociali” che restringevano sia l’espressività sessuale che l’importanza sociale e politica delle donne. L’esempio più eclatante di queste restrizioni fu l’uccisione della filosofa Ipazia, rea di essere troppo libera e di dare “scandalo” ai seguaci del nuovo corso “religioso”. Si dice che l’odio verso il mondo femminile, pur presente nell’ebraismo, fu esacerbato nel cristianesimo. Fino a raggiungere vette di totale annichilimento anche fisico delle donne che osavano manifestare autonomia di pensiero e di azione, accusate di connivenza con il “demonio”.
Anzi, dal 418 d.C. tutti diventarono “demoniaci”. Anche i bambini appena nati, erano definiti esseri demoniaci, in quanto nati da un atto sessuale e quindi destinati alla dannazione se non venivano battezzati al più presto. Queste belle pensate risultarono nell’acquisizione della chiesa cattolica di ogni potere, religioso e temporale, e la cosa si protrasse dal 375 d.C. fino al XVII secolo (in cui si affermarono le grandi eresie cristiane). Nel Concilio di Nicea fu stabilito, con il beneplacito di Costantino, che Gesù da “re degli ebrei” diventasse il “salvatore e Cristo dell’umanità”. Da allora gli eccidi dei pagani, la distruzione sistematica dei loro templi, soprattutto quelli dedicati alle varie dee, e delle biblioteche antiche, divennero legge (nel 391 d.C. i cristiani, per la prima volta, distrussero ad Alessandria una delle più grandi biblioteche del mondo che conteneva oltre 700.000 volumi sull’intero scibile umano, e successivamente l’opera fu completata dai musulmani).
Le stime degli studiosi, pur in mancanza di documenti ufficiali (poiché le porcherie si fanno nascostamente), sul numero delle persone torturate ed uccise nella sola Europa durante il dominio cristiano, va dalle 150.000 al milione. Ovviamente tali dati vanno integrati con gli stermini dei popoli indigeni nelle Americhe ed in altre parti del mondo.
Va da sé che nei 17 secoli di oppressione della sessualità e del mondo femminile si venne accentuando una sempre maggiore perversione nei costumi ecclesiastici. Quel che non poteva essere vissuto alla luce del giorno divenne oggetto di morbosità e di segreti sfoghi, da parte di papi, prelati e sacerdoti. Soprattutto nel chiuso delle chiese e delle sacrestie. I casi di abusi sessuali sui minori, le relazioni illecite nei conventi, le torture sado-maso contro streghe ed eretici, divennero pratiche correnti e in parte perdurano anche ai nostri giorni. Un esempio melodrammatico della deviata sessualità cristiana ci è fornito nelle feste di Halloween, promosse dalla feccia consumista e massonica, che vengono celebrate negli USA. In esse alcune chiese cristiane istallano delle Hell House, case infernali, per convincere i “credenti” dall’astenersi dal peccato, pena la dannazione eterna. In queste Hell House ci sono varie tappe, un po’ come nelle vie crucis, in cui vengono mostrati diversi peccati: un sacrificio satanico, medici masochisti che praticano aborti, prostitute e libertine che vengono torturate, etc. Alla fine dell’orrida processione si trova, di solito, una scena paradisiaca con Gesù fra gli angeli. Dopo essere stati minacciati di torture indicibili agli inferi i visitatori vengono invitati a prendere rifugio nel Cristo, loro signore e salvatore.
Negli anni, comunque, la figura femminile fu in parte rivalutata attraverso la venerazione della Madre di Dio, Maria. I preti non poterono impedirla e così, in qualche modo l’immagine della Madre Universale, che dona la vita, sopravvisse. Pur umiliata ed offesa, in quanto resa madre per costrizione e senza atto sessuale. Per quanto riguarda la presenza femminile nel mondo religioso, solo nella fede anglicana ed in altre poche eccezioni le donne possono assurgere alla carica sacerdotale. Una di queste sacerdotesse la conobbi, qualche anno fa a Pescara, che per conto della sua “chiesa” aveva sponsorizzato il “Festival della laicità”. Insomma il mondo femminile anche all’interno del cristianesimo sta cercando di ritrovare una sua dignità, riscoprendo anche la santità del rapporto sessuale, come espressione della creatività divina.
Quello che in passato poteva solo avvenire attraverso le estasi mistiche sta prendendo una forma più concreta e tangibile di amore carnale, non deprivato di spiritualità. Certo, se la chiesa cattolica accettasse il sacerdozio femminile ed il matrimonio fra i suoi membri, e se venisse abolito il potere temporale del papato (e la stessa figura del papa), la chiesa cattolica forse potrebbe riscattarsi dalle malefatte compiute in questi secoli. Ma dubito che ne abbia la forza… e quindi è destinata a scomparire. La storia non fa sconti e l’iniquità ha concluso il suo tempo.
Però ad onor del vero alcuni santi cristiani dimostrarono amore e rispetto verso la Madre Universale e verso il mondo femminile. In particolare questo atteggiamento fu vissuto da Francesco d’Assisi. La sua adorazione di dio essendo rivolta a tutte le creature. Francesco può essere considerato un amante della natura in cui riconosceva l’impronta divina. Sempre egli si adoperò di mantenere un comportamento adatto alla conservazione della vita, occupandosi di animali, di lavoro, di contemplazione delle bellezze naturali ed accettando nel novero dei suoi compagni anche diverse donne, che erano a lui devote e che in tutti i modi gli dimostrarono amore, sicuramente dal santo ricambiato, poiché essendo vissuto da laico conobbe l’amore e sapeva che questo non è contrario alla volontà di dio, anzi è la sua espressione.
In attesa, quasi nella speranza, che il cristianesimo trovi un nuovo Francesco, osserviamo ora l’ascesa sempre più rapida dell’ultimo ramo dell’ebraismo, trattasi dell’islam.
E pure qui dobbiamo cominciare a narrare le origini di questo credo. Anche nel caso dell’islam è indubbio che le radici affondino nell’ebraismo, con influssi cristiani, teoricamente potremmo definire l’islamismo una sorta di “eresia” degli insegnamenti biblici e paleo cristiani, se non che, ergendosi la figura di Maometto come “ultimo e vero profeta” e utilizzando questa preminenza a fini politici, gli arabi ne approfittarono per scatenare una campagna di conversioni forzate che portò l’islam a divenire il più grande impero medioevale, in concorrenza stretta con quello dei tartari in estremo oriente e con Bisanzio e Sacro Romano Impero in occidente. Ma la forza dell’impero bizantino non era decisamente in grado di contrastare la conquista islamica e l’Europa cristiana era divisa in vari stati spesso in antagonismo fra loro, di conseguenza l’Occidente corse il rischio di essere fagocitato. Già la Spagna, la Sicilia ed i Balcani erano divenute terre musulmane, mentre le città costiere di Francia ed Italia erano continuamente saccheggiate da pirati saraceni, che in diversi luoghi stabilirono anche capisaldi. Forse furono le crociate in terra santa che crearono un diversivo all’avanzata musulmana o forse le divisioni interne all’islam che ad un certo punto esaurirono l’alta marea della conquista e delle conversioni al Corano.
E qui dobbiamo inserire una recente notizia di cronaca relativa a questo sacro testo. Recentemente una ricercatrice italiana, Alba Fedeli, ha annunciato la scoperta della più antica copia del Corano che si conosca. Il “problema” è che l’esame del carbonio 14 avrebbe dimostrato che è stata scritta prima della predicazione del profeta islamico, vissuto tra il 570 e il 632 dopo Cristo. Gli storici britannici che hanno confermato l’originalità del documento hanno definito la scoperta “destabilizzante” per le sue implicazioni: una scoperta che dà credito all’ipotesi che Maometto e i suoi seguaci usassero un testo già esistente, che poi modellarono in base alla propria visione politica e teologica. Una spiegazione che va a smontare la versione ufficiale secondo cui il Corano venne scritto da Maometto, sulla base di una rivelazione divina…
Ma torniamo al tema principale di questo articolo, ovvero l’analisi di come è percepito l’erotismo e la condizione femminile nelle varie religioni di origine semitica. Anche nell’islam, come nell’ebraismo e nel cristianesimo, la forte impronta maschilista e patriarcale stabilisce il tipo di rapporti fra il maschile ed il femminile e fornisce indicazioni sulle diverse attitudini sessuali.
Vediamo ad esempio che Maometto all’inizio della sua carriera sposò una donna anziana ma ricca, il che gli permise di potersi dedicare alle sue visioni mistiche senza preoccuparsi della sopravvivenza. Più tardi però, per compensare, sposò una giovinetta appena adolescente in modo da poter soddisfare anche le sue pulsioni carnali. Ancora oggi nelle nazioni islamiche i matrimoni con bambine vergini sono assolutamente nella norma e spesso ne leggiamo le drammatiche conseguenze sui giornali. Un’altra caratteristica dell’islam è la poligamia. Un uomo può avere quante mogli riesca a mantenere ed anche qui l’origine dell’usanza è “religiosa”. Infatti siccome la donna è considerata proprietà dell’uomo e siccome anche le donne non musulmane una volta impalmate vengono cooptate nella religione, avere molte mogli (magari rapite in Europa) contribuisce alla formazione di nuovi adepti (la prole diventa tutta musulmana). Tra l’altro difficilmente chi era stato convertito all’islam poteva abiurare poiché era prevista la morte per chiunque rinnegasse la vera fede.
Un altro aspetto della sessualità nell’Islam è la “dichiarata” opposizione ai rapporti sodomitici ed alla zooerastia, e ciò era motivato (come avvenne per la proibizione a nutrirsi di maiale o di armenti non dissanguati) da ragioni pratiche e dalla necessità di correggere un’inveterata tendenza. Infatti, come per gli altri popoli di origine pastorale, l’abitudine a soddisfare le proprie voglie godendo di bestie e di giovinetti era talmente radicata che bisognava metterci un freno, con una precisa ingiunzione religiosa. Pena l’inferno eterno. All’inverso per i virtuosi che seguono diligentemente le norme coraniche e che muoiono combattendo per l’islam si aprono le porte del paradiso, con 70 vergini sempre pronte a soddisfare le loro voglie e fiumi di vino e miele. Ovviamente non si fa menzione di quale sia il vantaggio per le donne islamiche.
Ma lo stesso Maometto ha dichiarato la posizione gerarchica tra l’uomo e la donna, mostrando ai suoi seguaci come “educare le proprie mogli picchiandole con dei panni arrotolati”. Da questo atteggiamento, simbolico o meno, si capisce quanto i seguaci dell’islam disprezzino il mondo femminile (pur volendone godere a tutti i costi). E lo stesso corano raccomanda: “Ammonite quelle di cui temete l’insuburdinazione, lasciatele sole nei loro letti, battetele (Corano 4:34)”.
Lo status delle donne nel mondo islamico è veramente infimo e lo vediamo ogni giorno in quelle tristi immagini di donne in burka e lo leggiamo su tutti i giornali relativamente ai continui stupri e violenze subite. Addirittura se una donna si ribella allo stupro e reagisce viene condannata. E se lo stupro in questione viene compiuto da un congiunto questo è considerato “adulterio” e la vittima può essere anche lapidata a morte. Le donne che hanno subito la violenza carnale possono essere punite per la vergogna che hanno arrecato alla famiglia. La donna è vittima ma la colpa è della donna. Assurdità di un fondamentalismo cieco e disumano.
Nella patria di Maometto, l’Arabia saudita, la religione di stato è il wahabismo, una variante super-ortodossa dell’islam sunnita, che stabilisce, riguardo alle donne, di non poter assumere ruoli sociali, oltre alle funzioni servili, esse non possono nemmeno ottenere la patente di guida.
Leggiamo ancora nel sacro testo: “Le donne debbono abbassare lo sguardo in compagnia degli uomini e se un ospite visita la casa devono essere nascoste da una tenda o da una barriera. (Corano 24:31 e 33:53). Il fatto è che, come avviene per la bibbia, la premessa iniziale del corano è che tali ingiunzioni sono la “parola di dio, così come è stata rivelata al profeta Maometto” e quindi non possono assolutamente essere messe in dubbio. Come il giudaismo ed il cristianesimo anche l’islam è una religione creata da uomini, al solo scopo di controllare altri uomini, e soprattutto le donne, una cosa che non ha nulla a che fare con dio.
Per fortuna anche nell’islam c’è stata una componente “umana” che ha saputo mantenere l’amore. Si tratta della componente sufi. Un grande poeta sufi fu Omar Khayyâm del quale qui riporto alcune poesie: “Col mio amor, sotto due rami conserti, col mio amor, sul confine dei deserti, ove non giunge della gloria il suono; e avrei ciò che a Mahmud non dà il suo trono.” – “Se questa passion che un ordin pare mi vien dritta dal ciel, perché il divieto? Dovrò accostar la tazza al labbro lieto, accostarla, o Signore, e non versare?” – “Guai a quel cuore in cui non è ardor di passione, che non è pazzo per l’amore d’una bella persona. Un giorno che tu abbia trascorso senza amore, non v’è per te altro giorno più perduto di quello.” – “Non vietatemi di bere vino, di godere le donne, perché Dio è compassione. Non ditemi che sto peccando, lasciatemi peccare a volontà. Porre fine alle proprie azioni per paura della punizione è da miscredenti, significa dubitare della Sua compassione”
E con queste immagini amorose chiudo il discorso.

Judaism was and is an "ethnic" faith that aims to maintain the unity and cultural and genetic identity of the Jewish people. But I do not go further, I limit myself to strongly advise the reading of the bible in order to understand the roots of that monolatrous religion (improperly called "monotheist").
Some goodies about misogyny and Jewish “erotic” norms can be found in the Talmud, the book of religious dictates: “All non-Jewish women are prostitutes. What about the other teachings contained in the bible? The litho-book is by no means a moral text, at least as we understand it, and it does not contain any ethical principles. Accepting the dictates of the bible means approving of every vice and crime. It authorizes: human sacrifices, cannibalism, slavery, polygamy, adultery and prostitution, obscenity, injustice towards women, intolerance and persecution, etc. etc. Among other things, one of the greatest faults of the bible is having taught that "woman brought sin and death into the world. She was created to depend on man for all his needs and for the information he would need .. ".
In all this sewage, strangely, a flower appeared, it is King Solomon's "Song of Songs" (however, there is no certainty about the author). Perhaps it was the beneficial influence of the Queen of Sheba that softened the heart of this rude Israelite king. to visit Solomon accompanied by his courtiers with precious gifts). And it sounds strange that such a strongly erotic poem has been used since the Council of Yavne (90 AD), in the canon of the Old Testament. It is erroneously thought that this religion was founded by a certain Jesus, of which there is no historical evidence of his existence, in truth Christianity is the brilliant thought of a repentant Jew: Saul of Tarsus. Repentant because he went from persecuting Jews who believed in the Messiah Jesus to creator of a new religion in which Jesus became everyone's messiah. Waiting, almost in the hope, that Christianity will find a new Francis, we are now observing the increasingly rapid rise of the last branch of Judaism, namely Islam.
And here too we must begin to narrate the origins of this creed. Even in the case of Islam there is no doubt that the roots lie in Judaism, with Christian influences, theoretically we could define Islam as a sort of "heresy" of biblical and paleo Christian teachings, except that, by raising the figure of Mohammed as " last and true prophet "and using this pre-eminence for political purposes, the Arabs took advantage of it to unleash a campaign of forced conversions that led Islam to become the largest medieval empire, in close competition with that of the Tartars in the Far East and with Byzantium and Holy Roman Empire in the west. But the strength of the Byzantine Empire was definitely not able to counter the Islamic conquest and Christian Europe was divided into various states, often at odds with each other, consequently the West ran the risk of being swallowed up. Already Spain, Sicily and the Balkans had become Muslim lands, while the coastal cities of France and Italy were continually plundered by Saracen pirates, who in various places also established strongholds. Perhaps it was the Crusades in the Holy Land that created a diversion from the Muslim advance or perhaps the internal divisions within Islam that at a certain point exhausted the high tide of conquest and conversions to the Koran.
And here we must insert a recent news report relating to this sacred text. Recently an Italian researcher, Alba Fedeli, announced the discovery of the oldest known copy of the Koran. In fact, as with other peoples of pastoral origin, the habit of satisfying one's cravings by enjoying animals and youngsters was so ingrained that it was necessary to put a stop to it, with a precise religious injunction. On pain of eternal hell. Conversely, for the virtuous who diligently follow the Koranic norms and who die fighting for Islam, the gates of heaven are opened, with 70 virgins always ready to satisfy their cravings and rivers of wine and honey. Even if a woman rebels against rape and reacts, she is condemned. And if the rape in question is carried out by a relative this is considered "adultery" and the victim can even be stoned to death. Women who have experienced rape can be punished for the shame they have brought to the family. The woman is the victim but the fault lies with the woman.
