Everywhere is the center of the world... - Ovunque è il centro del mondo...

 

One thing that has always made me reflect is the discovery, made by geneticists by analyzing the mitochondrial genome, that European populations descend from 12 women, presumably who emigrated from Africa (their traces, however, start from the Middle East). Twelve apostles of life and mothers of all of us. If we then consider that over the centuries Italy has been inhabited by hundreds of different populations in continuous mixing with each other, we understand that bioregional identity certainly cannot be based on the genetic belonging of a certain community that lives in the place, but rather on the ability to live in harmony with the place and with all its inhabitants, including animals.

Thought and ideology and religions alienate man from man and man from nature while the sense of community that arises from sharing existence in the same place is something healthy and concrete. This is the bioregional approach and this is also the way I try to relate to others and the environment since I moved from Calcata to Treia, in the Marche.

I had written about Calcata and now also about Treia which is "the center of the world", as indeed any other place where one lives is, since the center of the world is where the presence manifests itself.

In feeling part of the place there is also the emotional and "biological" aspect of thought to consider, thought is not only speculative or projective, or at least it is only in its visible form when it materializes in a choice combined with an interest principal (whether that of an ego of a nation or of a community in which one recognizes oneself). However, are we aware that the matrix of thought is "biological"? And it does not take into account the implications and consequences, except as a function of a global evolutionary "project" (trials and errors, cause and effect, call it what you like).

The mind is a transceiver, it is a radio or a television or a computer, but the operator who enters data and ensures that the various programs are developed (on the basis of pre-established rules inherent in the "technical" capabilities of the medium itself) is uncontrollable by the medium, the exact opposite being true.

Bios is the "Force" the aggregation that presumes to embody it is only the arm that moves... The decision is not of the arm but appears as such.

Life in its inseparable totality pushes and generates "creatures" capable of manifesting its "game". A practical example, when a thought arises in our mind and as a consequence we make a "decision", have we ever asked ourselves where that thought arises from? What is the "Force" that makes it visible to our mind?

The same goes for everything else: yin and yang, light and darkness, chiaroscuro necessary for the dream! Nonetheless... it is "correct" and "suitable" for one to move and act in the world according to one's feelings (whatever that may be).

Una cosa che sempre mi ha fatto riflettere è la scoperta, fatta dai genetisti analizzando il genoma mitocondriale,  che le popolazioni europee discendono da 12 donne, presumibilmente emigrate dall’Africa (le loro tracce comunque partono dal Medio Oriente). Dodici apostole di vita e madri di tutti noi. Se poi consideriamo che nei secoli l’Italia è stata abitata  da centinaia di popolazioni diverse in continuo mescolamento fra loro, comprendiamo che l’identità bioregionale non può certamente essere basata sull’appartenenza genetica di una certa comunità che vive nel luogo, bensì sulla capacità di vivere in sintonia con il luogo e con tutti i suoi abitanti, animali compresi.

Il pensiero e l’ideologia e le religioni  alienano l’uomo dall’uomo e l’uomo dalla natura mentre il senso di comunità che sorge dal condividere l’esistenza nello stesso luogo è qualcosa di sano e di concreto. Questo è l’approccio bioregionale e questo è anche il modo in cui cerco di rapportarmi con gli altri e con l’ambiente da quando mi sono trasferito  da Calcata a Treia, nelle Marche.

Avevo scritto di Calcata, ed ora anche di  Treia, che è “il centro del mondo”,  come d’altronde qualsiasi altro luogo in cui si vive lo è, poiché il centro del mondo è ove si manifesta la presenza.

Nel sentirsi parte del luogo c’è da considerare anche l’aspetto emozionale e  “biologico” del pensiero, il pensiero non è solo speculativo o proiettivo, o perlomeno lo è solo nella sua forma visibile allorché si concretizza in una scelta abbinata ad un interesse precipuo (che sia quello di un io di una nazione o di una comunità in cui ci si riconosce). Siamo però consapevoli che la matrice del pensiero è “biologica”? Ed essa non tiene conto dei risvolti e delle conseguenze, se non in funzione di un “progetto” globale evolutivo (tentativi ed errori, causa ed effetto, chiamatelo come vi pare).

La mente è un ricetrasmettitore, è una radio od un televisore od un computer, ma l’operatore che immette dati e fa sì che i diversi programmi vengano sviluppati (sulla base di norme prestabilite e connaturate nelle capacità “tecniche” del mezzo stesso) è incontrollabile dal mezzo, essendo vero l’esatto contrario.

Bios è la “Forza” l’aggregazione che presume di incarnarla è solo il braccio che si muove… La decisione non è del braccio ma appare come tale. 

La Vita nella sua totalità inscindibile spinge e genera “creature” atte a manifestare il suo “gioco”. Un esempio pratico, quando sorge un pensiero nella nostra mente ed in conseguenza a ciò prendiamo una “decisione” ci siamo mai chiesti da dove sorge quel pensiero? Quale è la “Forza” che lo rende visibile alla nostra mente?

Così è per tutto il resto: yin e yang, luce e tenebra, chiaroscuri necessari per il sogno! Ciò non ostante…  è “corretto” e “consono” che ci si muova e si agisca nel mondo secondo il proprio sentire (qualsiasi esso sia).
