Lay spirituality is not a kite... - La spiritualità laica non è un aquilone...

In the sky there are no roads there is only empty space. A trace remains only in the thread that binds the kites...

In the spirit, in the conscience, as well as in heaven, there is no path and therefore speaking of lay spirituality implying that  is a way of setting up the inner search by following some norms or rejecting others is pure vanity, it is fiction.

Everything happens by itself, on the basis of an inner evolutionary drive, believing in a way and thinking he is right is the prerogative of every path. But it is not even necessary to indicate the inconsistencies of this or that religion, of this or that creed. As long as there is someone who believes in a religion, one cannot help but recognize that for him the truth of the self is a mirage. Believing this or believing that is just believing. But can we claim to "believe" in existence, to "believe" in our awareness?

We exist and we are conscious, we do not believe we are.

The I is a sign, each of himself says "I am", this sign is common to all, the rest is just added thought. The self is the same for everyone. Since this is the truth, what is the use of tying the ego to a specific thought form, to a concept? Everything is in the me. The individualized form of the self is like the consciousness of a cell in the body. Obviously in self-awareness, as a unitary organism, that cell is only one aspect, an experiential basis of the ego. So where is the difference between the individual and the whole? That I from which every thought emerges and who is able to recognize every thought is the same I in which everything melts away.

When we sleep we perceive many characters, we see them separate from us, we consider ourselves and others as separate, but is that really the case? Can we reasonably claim to be separate from the characters in our dream?

In fact, ignoring that all is One is like dreaming.

Awakening to self-knowledge is to call this fact “lay spirituality” is just a figure of speech, from the point of view of experience it cannot be given a name, therefore lay spirituality is just a description of the indescribable.

A Zen master said "the finger that points to the moon is not the moon".

Nel cielo non vi sono strade c’è solo vuoto spazio. Resta una traccia solo nel filo che lega gli aquiloni...

Nello spirito, nella coscienza, così come nel cielo, non c’è percorso e quindi  parlare di spiritualità laica sottintendendo che  sia un modo di impostare la ricerca interiore attenendosi a delle norme o respingendone altre è pura vanità, è finzione.

Tutto avviene per conto suo, sulla base di una spinta evolutiva interiore, credere in una via e pensare di essere nel giusto è la prerogativa di ogni percorso. Ma non serve nemmeno indicare le incongruenze di questa o quella religione, di questo o quel credo. Finché c’è qualcuno che crede in una religione non si può far a meno di riconoscere che per lui la verità del sè è un miraggio. Credere in questo o credere in quello è solo credere. Ma possiamo affermare di “credere” nell’esistenza, di “credere” nella nostra coscienza?

Noi esistiamo e siamo coscienti, non crediamo di esserlo.

L’io è un segno, ognuno di sé dice “io sono”, questo segno è comune a tutti, il resto è solo pensiero aggiunto. L’io è lo stesso per tutti. Essendo questa la verità a che serve legare l’io ad una specifica forma pensiero, ad un concetto? Tutto è nell’io. La forma individualizzata dell’io è come la coscienza di una cellula nel corpo. Ovviamente nella consapevolezza di sé, come organismo unitario, quella cellula è solo un aspetto, una base esperienziale dell’io. Ed allora dov’è la differenza fra l’individuo ed il tutto? Quell’io da cui ogni pensiero emerge e che è in grado di riconoscere ogni pensiero è lo stesso io in cui tutto si scioglie.

Quando dormiamo percepiamo molti personaggi, li vediamo separati da noi, consideriamo noi stessi e gli altri come separati, ma è così realmente? Possiamo ragionevolmente affermare di essere separati dai personaggi del nostro sogno?

Infatti ignorare che tutto è Uno è come sognare.

Risvegliarsi alla conoscenza di sé è chiamare questo fatto “spiritualità laica” è solo un modo di dire, dal punto di vista dell’esperienza non può essere dato un nome, quindi spiritualità laica è solo una descrizione dell’indescrivibile.

Diceva un maestro zen “il dito che indica la luna non è la luna”.
