Psychic archetypes, elective affinities, empathy and overcoming the sense of judgment... - Archetipi psichici, affinità elettive, empatia e superamento del senso di giudizio...

The study of the I Ching and the Chinese zodiac have slowly led me to identify in myself and in others some recurring psychic forces common to all. The innate tendencies that manifest themselves in every living being are however recognizable on the basis of sympathies/empathies and to understand what goes on in someone's mind it is necessary to free oneself from one's mental preconceptions and thus act as a catalyst so that the other can move in full freedom of expression. An "amorphous" catalyst allows the expression of any innate tendency since it does not prevent the other from manifesting itself, in short it does not cause the formation of protective barriers.

And this process occurs spontaneously in those souls who perceive a communion, positive or negative, or who have the possibility of entering into harmony on some aspects of the psyche, they are said to have an elective affinity. Very often it happens that this affinity is felt with people who are dear to us, or with unknown people who have however developed an internal “construct” recognizable to us.

Another aspect to consider is that of karmic bonds, which are a bit pleasant to develop and a bit annoying, depending on the evolutionary stage and the state of payments… there are always credits and debits in all relationships, this according to the vision of cause and effect. But as soon as the vile calculation is overcome and the element of love is introduced, every comparative judgment goes away, leaving room for a suffused joy and satisfaction. You just love, you don’t ask anything of each other, you enjoy love and not how you should or shouldn’t manifest it. In this simplicity of relationship we could also feel uncomfortable if we have not developed a detachment from forms (from ways).

These are also allegorical words… I have no other means to communicate something… to stimulate an internal process of growth, a consciousness that belongs to everyone in the exact same way but that cannot be transmitted, precisely because it is already there and only asks for attention….

In the psychological analysis of incarnated archetypes, in my opinion, it is necessary to keep in mind that the understanding of the psychic states examined in the “observed” individual requires a good dose of mixture and empathy, that is, the zodiac analyst must also be a little “intriguing and speculative”.

Intriguing comes from intrigue (machination, plot, understanding, etc.) this word expresses a lot of double meanings, sometimes it is used in a positive sense, as something intriguing is interesting, varied, fun, attractive… etc. The term speculation expresses a typical aspect of analysis, beyond that of mirroring, and that is investigation, research, reflection, pretext...

Empathy and transference are necessary for understanding the games of the mind, in the recognition of sharing all the aspects examined, this is the only way -in my opinion- to be able to find solutions to the imbalances and dysfunctions of the psyche. Therefore the scholar of archetypes also carries out a priestly, shamanic function... And this is not an anti-scientific attitude, on the contrary this attitude allows us to bring elements of mutual "healing".

Lo studio dell'I Ching e dello zodiaco cinese mi hanno portato pian piano a individuare in me stesso e negli altri alcune forze psichiche ricorrenti e comuni a tutti. Le tendenze innate che si manifestano in ogni essere vivente sono però riconoscibili sulla base delle simpatie/empatie e per comprendere cosa passa nella mente di qualcuno occorre liberarsi dai propri preconcetti mentali e fungere così da catalizzatore in modo che l'altro possa muoversi in piena libertà espressiva.  Un catalizzatore "amorfo" consente l'espressione di qualsiasi tendenza innata poiché non impedisce all'altro di manifestarsi, insomma non provoca la formazione di barriere protettive.

E questo processo avviene  spontaneamente in quelle anime che  percepiscono una comunione, in positivo od in negativo, oppure che hanno la possibilità di entrare in sintonia su alcuni aspetti della psiche, si dice di esse che abbiano una affinità elettiva. Molto spesso succede che questa affinità si provi con le persone che ci sono care, oppure con persone sconosciute che hanno però sviluppato “un costrutto” interiore a noi riconoscibile.

Altro aspetto da considerare  e quello dei legami karmici, i quali un po’ sono piacevoli da sviluppare  ed un po’ fastidiosi, dipende dallo stadio evolutivo e dallo stato dei pagamenti… ci sono sempre crediti e debiti in tutti i rapporti, questo secondo la visione della causa effetto. Ma appena si supera il vile calcolo e si inserisce l’elemento dell’amore  ogni giudizio comparativo se ne va lasciando il posto ad una soffusa gioia ed appagamento. Si ama e basta, non ci si chiede nulla, si gode dell’amore e non come si debba o non si debba manifestarlo. In questa semplicità di rapporto potremmo pure sentirci a disagio se non abbiamo sviluppato un distacco dalle forme (dai modi).

Anche queste sono parole allegoriche…  non ho altro mezzo per comunicare qualcosa… per sollecitare un processo interiore di crescita, una coscienza  che appartiene ad ognuno nello stesso identico modo ma che non può essere trasmessa, proprio perché è già lì e chiede solo l’attenzione…. 

Nell’analisi psicologica degli archetipi incarnati, secondo me, occorre tener presente che la comprensione degli stati psichici esaminati nell’individuo “osservato”  necessitano di una buona dose di commistione ed empatia, ovvero l'analista zodiacale deve essere anche un po’  “intrigante e speculativo”. 

Intrigante deriva da intrigo (macchinazione, trama,  intesa, etc.) questa parola esprime un sacco di doppi sensi, a volte viene usata nell’accezione positiva, in quanto una cosa intrigante è interessante, varia, divertente, attraente… etc.  Il termine speculazione esprime un  aspetto tipico dell’analisi, oltre quello dello specchiarsi,  e cioè indagine, ricerca, riflessione, pretesto…

L’empatia ed il transfert sono necessari per la comprensione dei giochi della mente, nel riconoscimento di condividere tutti gli aspetti esaminati, questo è il solo modo -secondo me- per poter trovare soluzioni agli squilibri ed alle disfunzioni della psiche. Perciò lo studioso degli archetipi svolge anche una funzione sacerdotale, sciamanica… E questo non è un atteggiamento antiscientifico anzi  questo atteggiamento consente di apportare elementi di reciproca "guarigione".
